This forum is designed for Pacific Island Emerging Auditors in the early stages of their careers (with up to 48 months of experience). It provides a platform for aspiring professionals to share insights and experiences as they navigate their careers in internal auditing. Benefits: Typical Event Overview: Overview: Using insights from risk interconnectivity to inform your internal audit plans In a world that is more connected and dynamic than ever before, organisations face a landscape where risks are not isolated but intricately interwoven. The increasing complexity of these interconnected systems means that a disruption in one area can swiftly ripple through entire operations, potentially triggering or amplifying other risks. Understanding and leveraging risk connectivity and contagions within internal audit plans is vital for navigating this intricate web of risk interactions. By identifying how specific risks can trigger additional vulnerabilities or be influenced by others, organisations can craft internal audit plans that are as agile and adaptive as the environments they operate within. This proactive approach allows internal auditors to go beyond traditional risk assessment, delving into the relationships that constitute a risk ecosystem. By mapping these connections, auditors can uncover hidden vulnerabilities and anticipate cascading effects, enabling more strategic prioritisation of audit activities. Host Sponsor:
