IIA NZ Event Terms and Conditions including the IIA NZ Refund Policy

  • IMPORTANT: If you are unable to attend, please notify us in writing ASAP at events@iianz.org.nz before the registration closing date to cancel your registration, to receive a refund. Cancellations not received in writing will obligate you to pay the registration fee for this event. This policy applies to both in-person and online registrations. Please note: you will be refunded the value of the funds that IIA NZ has received only.
  • Extenuating circumstances: If you are unwell or face extenuating circumstances on the day(s) of the event and cannot attend in person, your registration will be converted to online attendance. This option is only available for extreme day-of situations. If attending online is not possible, you may apply in writing to the IIA NZ CEO for refund consideration due to extenuating circumstances.
  • Full refund: A full refund is available if you cancel before the registration closing deadline: 19 October 2025.
  • No refunds: will be issued after the registration closing date being 19 October 2025.
  • Overseas registrations: If you are paying for your conference registration from overseas, IIA NZ will charge an International Processing (IP) fee of $15.00. Please note that your bank may also apply additional charges on your end. This applies to all payments made when not using our credit card gateway. The IP fee is non-refundable.
  • Registration Fee: The registration fee is the same for both in-person and online attendance. This is to account for the costs associated with audiovisual equipment and video conferencing resources required to facilitate a seamless virtual experience. Note: Online registrations cover the 2 day conference, but exclude the Gala Awards Dinner and Sponsors network/Quiz evening.
  • Transferring Your Registration to Someone Else: If you are unable to attend an event, you have the option to send a substitute in your place, provided the replacement meets the event's entry requirements. Please notify us in advance in writing so we can update our delegate list before the registration closing date. If the replacement delegate is not eligible for the same attendance fee (e.g., an IIA NZ member sending a non-IIA NZ member), the price difference must be settled before the event.
  • Split registrations: We are unable to offer split registrations; therefore, all conference registrations relate to one person per registration. Where applicable, individuals can purchase access to individual events, such as the CAE Forum, Gala Awards Dinner, after 1 August, subject to availability.
  • Video Recording: Upon registration, you understand that this is a hybrid event that combines both in-person and virtual attendance options, allowing attendees to participate in the conference from anywhere in the world. In this case, the IIA NZ Conference 2025 may be recorded for promotional purposes, meaning that portions of the event could be used for promotional purposes later.

  • Speaker Changes: IIA NZ reserves the right to replace a speaker and/or topic within the programme should a speaker be unable to attend for any reason.
  • Panel Speaker Allocation: IIA NZ panellist speakers will be confirmed closer to the conference date.
  • Resource Sharing: IIA NZ will distribute all approved speaker slide decks and resources to registered attendees after the conference.
  • Dietary Requirements: Please kindly note that all dietary requirements must be brought to our attention before the registration closing date. We regret to inform you that we cannot cater to any dietary requests on the day of the event.
    • Please note that afternoon tea will not be provided on Day Two.
    • The Sponsors Networking/Quiz evening offers a 1 hour drink package and canapes time limitation, that will be served between 5.30 - 6.30 pm prior to the start of the Quiz night
    • The Gala Awards dinner has a 3 hour drink package time limitation.
  • IIA NZ 2-day Conference 2025 – CPE Hours and Summary: In-person attendees will receive up to 16.50 CPE hours. Online participants will receive up to 16.50 CPE hours (excludes the CAE Forum, Gala Awards Dinner and Quiz Night). The CAE Forum CPE will be itemised separately via MyIIA. To be eligible for a CPE summary, online attendees must watch the full conference. Only registered participants will receive a CPE summary. From 1 April 2025, your CPE summary is now accessible through your MyIIA online account. Simply navigate to the CPE Summary section to download them at any time. If you are not a member of IIA NZ and require a one-off CPE certificate, please email your request to events@iianz.org.nz after the conference and no later than 30 November 2025.
