CPE

Attendance at the IIA NZ Conference 2024 will provide 23.5 CPE hours for our in-person delegates. Those who attend online will receive 15 CPE hours (due to non-attendance at the Gala Awards and the Welcome Reception). The above CPE hours do not include the CAE Forum.

A CPE certificate will be emailed to all attendees, whether they participated online or in person. Online attendees who have successfully registered will be granted access to the event. Only registered individuals will be eligible to receive an IIA NZ CPE certificate.

To qualify for an IIA NZ CPE certificate, virtual participants must watch the entire IIA NZ Conference 2024 duration.

IIA NZ Event Overview and Refund Policy

  • If you are unable to attend, please submit a written notification to events@iianz.org.nz to cancel your registration before the registration closing date. Failure to do so will obligate you to pay the registration fee for this event. This policy applies to both face-to-face and online registrations.

  • If you are unwell or experience extenuating circumstances on the day/s of the event, you are welcome to attend online. If attending online is not possible, you will need to apply to the Board for a refund consideration due to extenuating circumstances.

  • Earlybird Conference registrations open on Monday 27 May 2024 and close on Wednesday 31 July 2024.

  • Full Conference registrations open on Thursday 1 August 2024 and close on Sunday 20 October 2024.

  • Full refund: You can receive a full refund before ticket sales close as noted above or until sold out, whichever comes first.

  • No refund: After the event closing date, or when tickets are sold out, we cannot provide a refund due to confirmed catering numbers and other related event matters.
  • Transferring Your Registration to Someone Else: If you are unable to attend an event, you have the option to send a substitute in your place, provided the replacement meets the event's entry requirements. Please notify us in advance in writing so we can update our delegate list before the registration closing date. If the replacement delegate is not eligible for the same attendance fee (e.g., an IIA NZ member sending a non-IIA NZ member), the price difference must be settled before the event.

We are unable to offer split registrations; therefore, all conference registrations relate to one person per registration. Where applicable, individuals can purchase access to individual events, such as the CAE Forum, after 1 September, subject to availability.

  • We highly encourage you to register early for this event. In the unlikely event of cancellation, rest assured that all registered participants will receive a full refund.
  • Please kindly note that all dietary requirements must be brought to our attention before the registration closing date. We regret to inform you that we cannot cater to any dietary requests on the day of the event.
  • The registration fee is the same for both in-person and online attendance. This is to account for the costs associated with audiovisual equipment and video conferencing resources required to facilitate a seamless virtual experience.

  • Postponement due to COVID: If there are any constraints directly related to COVID, we will notify you of a postponement. In such a case, your funds will be held with IIA NZ until we can confirm a new date for the event, or you will be refunded.

  • Upon registration, you understand that this is a hybrid event that combines both in-person and virtual attendance options, allowing attendees to participate in the conference from anywhere in the world. In this case, the IIA NZ Conference 2024 may be recorded for promotional purposes, meaning that portions of the event could be used for promotional purposes later.

  • IIA NZ reserves the right to replace a speaker and/or topic within the programme should a speaker be unable to attend for any reason.

  • The topic allocation for IIA NZ panellist speakers will be confirmed closer to the conference date.
